VINTAGE MACHINERY EXPO
14 and 15 April 2012

This Club is staging a two day vintage machinery expo at 72 Aspin Road. Cambridge, in conjunction with the New Zealand Ploughing Championships, hosted by the Waikato Ploughing Association on 14th and 15th April 2012.

Planning is well under way with the intent to encourage exhibitors to show working machinery and stationary engines and tractors working other machinery or attached to implements, not necessarily of the same make as the power source.

A programme of activity will aim to have a reasonably steady flow of action in the main arena.

We will also have a series of tractor weighted sledge pulling contests. The club dynamometer will be on site for testing tractor horse power. There will be an area available for ploughing, discing and cultivation etc.

The stationary engine area will have a drain behind it for water pumping equipment. 

The grounds will be available for exhibitors to set up their displays on Friday 13 April, through to Sunday 16 April. An informal get together will be held on Saturday at the end of the day’s activities on the grounds. Ground security will also be provided from Friday night outside show times until Monday morning.
